Joseph Pohl (Counselling Intern)

As a therapist in training, I bring curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s story. I love working with individuals from all walks of life and aim to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen and heard. My approach integrates evidence-based tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), while remaining grounded in empathy and authenticity.

Worldview and Counselling Perspective

Before entering the counselling field, I spent years in pastoral ministry, where I developed a heart for helping people navigate life’s challenges with honesty and hope. My faith and love for family continue to shape the way I approach both life and therapy—with humility, care, and a belief in each person’s capacity for growth and healing.
