Jacki has been passionate about helping individuals, couples and families experience wholeness in their relationships for over a decade, first through her work with FamilyLife Canada and then through her training in Marriage and Family Therapy. Through personal, volunteer, and professional work in counselling, Jacki has worked with people to develop better coping skills, relational skills, and healthier ways of living. She appreciates the opportunity to come alongside those who are walking through a difficult time, as well as those who want to experience growth in different areas of their lives. She considers it a gift and a privilege to journey through life’s ups and downs with others through counselling.

2. Professional Credentials

Jacki holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.

She is trained in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 – Bridging the Couple Chasm as well as certified in the Neufeld Institutes Level 1, which focuses on Child Development and Attachment Theories.

Jacki is an Accountable Mental Health Professional, a Designation of BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and as such is a Registered Clinical Counsellor – License #14104.

3. Worldview and Counselling Perspective

Jacki works from a systemic framework and draws from the Satir experiential therapeutic approach, Structural therapy, Attachment theory, and the research-based Gottman Method Couples Therapy to inform her work. Her faith in God also influences her perspective, though she is deeply respectful of each individual client’s determination of the level of spiritual integration in counselling.

4. Counselling Information

Counselling in Person Only: $125 (+GST) /session

Session Length – 50 minutes

5. Payment for Services

Payment is due at the time of the session by cash or cheque or by e-transfer by the end of the day. Make cheques payable to Jacki Graham.

Cancellation Fee: With notification of less than 24 hours, clients agree to pay a cancellation fee equal to a full session.
