1. EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE
Courtney cares for those she encounters with empathy and a welcoming presence. She has worked in international community mental health contexts with refugees and care providers for more than 10 years. Her experience includes supporting students and their families in an international school with various issues such as learning challenges and transition. Courtney joins DFR as a graduate counselling student.

2. PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS
Courtney is a student member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (#10007919). She holds a Master of Arts in Human Services Counselling: Crisis and Trauma as well as currently pursuing her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counselling (Liberty University). Courtney is certified in Trauma Care through the American Christian Counselling Association. She has received training in psychological first aid, play therapy, crisis debriefing, community mental health, and child-parent based trauma treatment.
3. WORLDVIEW AND COUNSELLING PERSPECTIVE
Courtney is a person-centered counselling student who is influenced by systems and attachment therapy. She believes in an integrative view of healing and wholeness that including the mind, spirit, relationships, and community of an individual. Courtney’s Christian faith shapes her worldview and desire to provide a supporting, accepting, and listening posture to all.
4. COUNSELLING INFORMATION
Counselling In-Person or Skype/Zoom Sessions available.
Session length: 50 minutes
Cost: $50
5. PAYMENT FOR SERVICES
Payment is due at the time of the session by cash or cheque or by e-transfer by the end of the day. Make cheques payable to Doing Family Right
Cancellation Fee: With notification of less than 24 hours, clients agree to pay a cancellation fee equal to a full session.
