Rachelle has spent the last 10 years counselling in a variety of settings. She has worked in the Mental Health and Addictions field, leading therapy groups and workshops at the Maple Ridge Treatment Center. She has also worked with Langley Community Services to help support youth struggling with addictions, and their families. In her private practice, Rachelle has worked with individuals and couples to move through their struggles, find deeper, more meaningful connections with others, and live more satisfying lives. She is delighted to be part of the DFR Care Centre team.

2. Professional Credentials
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology. Rachelle is also trained in Gottman Method Couple’s Therapy (Level 1) and has completed the Neufeld Institute’s Level 1 intensive certification, in which she received training in Child Development and Attachment Theory.
Rachelle is an accountable Mental Health Professional, a Designation of BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and as such is a Registered Clinical Counsellor – License #2973. Some employee benefits packages and extended medical insurance cover personal and family counseling. Check with your provider.
Rachelle is also endorsed by the British Columbia Professional Firefighter’s Association as an Occupationally Aware Therapist, ready to serve members of BC’s Fire Service.
Rachelle is an approved counsellor with the Crime Victim Assistance Program and as such, approved counselees may request her counselling services within this program and be covered $80.00 per session.

Rachelle works from a person-centered perspective and enjoys connecting with her clients, building a strong foundation of trust and mutual respect as they journey together. Her counselling focus is designed to help people overcome past trauma, build deeper and lasting relational bonds and find greater life meaning and purpose. She is drawn to a deeper spiritual life and faith experience that shapes her worldview and fuels her counseling process with great care and compassion.
4. Counselling Information
Counselling in Person or Online (Skype or FaceTime): $125/session
Session Length: 50 minutes
5. Payment for Services
Payment is due at the time of the session by cash or cheque or by e-transfer by the end of the day. Make cheques payable to Rachelle Siemens.
Cancellation Fee: With notification of less than 24 hours, clients agree to pay a cancellation fee equal to a full session.
